And we got mentioned as nominating them and this was very impressive.
Driftclimber Snowmobile Club!is the oldest snowmobile club in Nova Scotia, established in 1969.
It was originally located in Nine Mile River and now operates out of Wellington.
Driftclimbers was the 2005 & 2007 SANS Club of the Year.

Driftclimbers was awarded Snowmobile Club of the year 2007 at SANS Meeting


Driftclimbers have had an other successful year as a club, but not much in the grooming department. We have attended several parades, had fundraisers, show 'n shine, trail work, mapping done .

Driftclimbers Members had a great night at the SANS Banquet in Truro May 12 07 fun was had byA all .
The Club recived Club of the year.

Not bad for a year of very little snow and only a few very hard working members I myself would like to thank all those members for the hard work.
Elma had made up a slide show showing the history and depth of the forty year old club. I think all that viewed it felt that Driftclimbers did deserved the Award and thanks to Alma.


For snowmobilers that want to enter Driftclimbers trails. A new parking lot has opened up.
Out the Beaverbank Road to the Intersection of the East Uniacke Road on the left , on the right there is Parking Lot . Look for the signs saying Driftclimbers Club Parking.
The trails are next to the lot. Please bring out what you take in and enjoy.
